Waluigi's Island

By Matt Bankey

So here's how the story goes. I haven't exactly ironed out all the details, yet, but here it goes. So Princess Daisy asks Luigi to go out for lunch, but where they arrive at the restaurant, Waluigi snatches Daisy right under Luigi's nose! Why Waluigi? Well, I though Waluigi liked her as much as Luigi liked her. Anyway, Waluigi rides of with Daisy and a boat to his island. There are no boats at the dock he can use, but he sees Professor (or Dr., I don't know which) E. Gadd, who is doing experiments on water elemental ghosts. When Luigi explains the story, Gadd agrees to help, with the Game Boy Horror, to use as a map and communicate with him, and a special hammer called the WeedWacker 2000, to use against all the Piranha Plants that will be there. Afterwords, they construct a boat to sail to Waluigi's Island. And that's the general story, but aside from Piranha Plants, there are also Nipper Plants (from Super Mario Bros. 3), Bloopers, Boos, Shy Guys, and some other creatures I don't want to spoil. There should be about 6-7 levels and it should work like Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins. By the way, I should have mentioned this earlier, but this game will be for the Game Boy Advance. Anyway, here is a list of the levels for the game:

-Wacky Waters, #1
-Piranha Plant Jungle, #2
-Masked Isle, #3
-Haunted Lane, #4 (Luigi's hammer is switched with a hammer that works on ghosts)
-Chomp Country, #5
-Petey's Place, #6
-Waluigi's Lighthouse, #7

As you can probably guess for the names, the levels are composed of different enemies. Like, for example, Wacky Waters has Bloopers and Cheep Cheeps, Masked Isle has Shy Guys, and Haunted Lane has, of course, Boos! You can probably figure out the rest. Now here and the bosses for each level:

-Wacky Waters: A big Blooper (Maybe Glooper Blooper?)
-Piranha Plant Jungle: Petey Piranha
-Masked Isle: Doctor Guy (3 Shy Guys behind one big mask!)
-Haunted Lane: the Boo Bros., the Big Boo
-Chomp Country: Chomper (giant Chained Chomp)
-Petey's Place: Petey again (but with more techniques and more stamina)
-Waluigi's Lighthouse: Robo-Waluigi, then a boxing match against Waluigi

That's about it. Oh and by the way, the Boo Bros. I mentioned and a trio of Boos who used to serve King Boo. Booigi, the middle sibling and leader, wears a small blue hat with a B on it and bounces around the room. Rock-a-Boo, the oldest, is really sleepy and is usually seen with a bit of drool on the side of his mouth. However, he is very powerful and quakes the ground whenever he hits it! Then last is Sir Boo, a Boo with a knight helmet an a nifty little mustache, who charges head-first at Luigi! And now, if you want to knw about Doctor Guy, has I said before, he's 3 Shy Guys behind onebig mask! The top one shoots smoke that slowly damages Luigi (he has stamina), the middle shoots darts, and the bottom one rolls rocks. And Luigi can only damage them when they move their big mask to attack. I know my organizing is a bit wack, but here are the controls for Luigi:

-Control Pad: Move right/left, look up/down
-A button: Jump/confirm
-B button: Hammer/cancel
-Start: Pause/Menu (talk to Gadd for hints)
-Select:? (I haven't taught of anything for this)
-R button: dash to/ toss hammer to right
-L button: dash to/ toss hammer to left About the site. All Rights Reserved. All content contained herein is property of SMBhq.
