Star 1Bowser's
Castle
Enter Bowser's castle and cross the long hallway. Go through the door and you find a hallway full of Terrapins. Try avoiding them, but fight if you have to. At the end of the hallway, two Terrapins are at the door waiting to challenge you. Fight them, and then move on to the next room. In this room, there are two bridges. The fireballs cannot hurt you, so ignore tham. Walk into the next room and fight your first boss...
BOWSER!!!!!!
Don't even hit Bowser while
battling him. Focus on his Chain chomp holfing his chandelier. Use
mostly Special Attacks, since you can replenish your FP before battling
again.
When Bowser's Chain Chomp drops its chandelier, Bowser and Mario do a little one-on-one thing, Mario saves the Princess... Big explosion... so on and so forth.
Mario's Pad
You end up at Mario's Pad. Save hhere. Toad will talk to you, but after he is done, go to Bowser's Keep again. Thge Bridge to the castle collapses due to a giant sword, and you should go back to Mario's Pad.SAVE HERE!!! Toad will give you a run-down about Timed Hits and Items if you want. Once Toad finishes, move on to Mushroom Way.
Mushroom Way
This place has so many monsters. It is a perfect place to train and gain a few levels. I suggest getting to level three by the end of Mushroom Way.On your way through, get all the chests for health and cash. Anyway, fight the Goomba holding Toad, and Toad will give you a Honey Syrup. Go to the next area and jump on the revolving flwer. If you time it right, the flower will spring you up onto a rock platform. Fight the Paratroopa carrying Toad, and he will give you a Flower Tab. Always use these immediately. Jump off the platform and head into the next area. Blobking the exit is your second boss holding Toad hostage...
The Hammer Bros.!!!!!
If you are at level three, these two bad boys should be
taken out easily. Use jump sparingly, and DO NOT use Fire Ball. Guard
against their direct attacks, and when they power up, don't sweat it,
it means you are almost done. Use Mushrooms when you are running low on
HP.
When you beat them, you will be rewarded with a hammer. Equip it, and then follow Toad into...
Mushroom Kingdom
Here is a great town, one of the best in the game. Go into the inn (they always have a revolving star on their door) and save.
Now run into the giant castle and follow Toad into the throne room (down the halway.) Here is a lot of talking. Read it if you want. Mario does a little jig, and you are off again. The chancellor will give you a map. Head down to the Vault, which you will find with a bit of exploring. Take everything in every chest, since you can't come back down here. Head outside the castle. Now, you will witness the saddest chace scene I have ever watched. The boy starts crying, and it RAINS. Run down to him and talk to him, and he wil stop crying. Tell him you will catch the Crrok. Mallow joins your party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Run down to the last building at the far right. Go in and talk to the clerk. Buy a LOT of Pick-Me-Ups (my favorite item!) and if you can, get some jump shoes. Leave the shop and talk to the Mushroom Guard there. He will interigate you about Croco. After that, leave Mushroom Kingdom at the nearest exit and go to Bandits' Way.
Bandits' Way
Croco will be waiting for you, and he will run away. Here is another great place to boost your experience and levels. I suggest you make it to Level 5 once you leave. Follow Croco into the next area. Jump onto the Cliff thing and onto the yellow blocks. They will take you across the "valley." Be sure to get all the coins that appear. At the next area, there are two yellow blocks and a chest. Jump onto one of the blocks, and the other one will "orbit" it. Get the other one under the chest, and then jump onto it. Get the star in the ches, and you will be INVIINCIBLE!!! Hit all the K-9s that you can. Hopefully, you will receive one or two Level-Ups. Proceed to the next area. Here you play hide-and-seak with Croco. Catch him three times, and he will battle you.
Croco!!!!!!
Croco
isn't tough if you are around level four or five. Hit him with your
hammer, while Mallow uses his Thunder attack. When Croco uses his
Mushroom, he is almost dead. Eventually, he will forfeit the match and
give you back Mallow's stolen Frog Coin grudgeingly.
You will find a Wallet after defeating Croco. Jump onto the trampoline, and it will take you to Bandits' Way's save block. SVE HERE. Leave Bandits' Way through the front entrance and go to...
Mushroom Kingdom- Death Version (bum-bum)
The peaceful Mushroom Kingdom is inhabited by bouncy thingy's!!! (Shyster.) Defeat all the Shysters that are holding people hostage. The people will give you rewards. When the guy asks for his Wallet back, don't give it to him until later! Go into the castle while avoiding the emerging Shysters.
Here, you should defeat every Shyster except the ones that are ever flowing from the hallway doors. People will give you thingsGo into Toadstool's room and get healed by her Grandma.SAVE HERE. Is you missed the Vault, you can get the stuff now. Finally, go into the throne room where you are challenged by your first world boss...
Mack!!!!!
Mack
isn't too hard if you are at level 6 or 7. Always pick off his
Bodyguards first, then attack Mack with Special Attacks. His bodyguards
regenerate, but keep picking them off. Sometimes Mack leaves, but he
always comes back. Use Pick-Me-Ups frequently. When Mack croaks, finish
off the remaining bodyguards and you have beaten your first Star Boss.
You get the Star in a dramatic dance. Save somewhere in Mushroom Kingdom, and leave to the next world.
