The Mario Bros. had won again. They had defeated Bowser and were celebrating at Peach's castle. While the party was going on, Peach heard a knocking at the castle door. Peach answered the door and saw Parakarry flying at eye level. Parakarry had been delivering letters for a long time, but after all that, he was still a little careless.

PEACH: Hello, Parakarry. What brings you here?
PARAKARRY: I've got a letter for you and Mario from Brooklyn.

Parakarry noticed Peach had a startled look on her face. She slowly took the letter from Parakarry.

PEACH: Thank you, Parakarry.

Peach took the letter back into the party, went to Mario, and led him aside. Luigi saw Peach telling Mario something and Mario being startled as the two looked at the letter. Luigi couldn't hear what they were saying as the heavy metal music was a little too loud. Luigi turned to the one who brought the music.

LUIGI: Kranky! Can you please turn your music down?!
KRANKY: No, you dumb whippersnapper!

Luigi shook his head and walked over to Peach and Mario, who were just finishing talking.

LUIGI: What's going on, you two? Is that letter from Pauline, Mario?

Luigi was referring to Pauline, a girl who Mario had rescued from Donkey Kong (now Kranky Kong) many years ago. Luigi thought that Peach would get mad at the sound of the name.

PEACH: Pauline? Stanley the Bugman's wife? No, it's not from her.
LUIGI: Stanley's wife?
MARIO: Yep. Why do you think I rescued her so quickly? She was my cousin-in-law.
LUIGI: Then who's the letter from?

Mario stalled for a moment, then spoke up.

MARIO: Luigi, you'll find out sooner or later. Peach and I have been married for the past twenty years.

Luigi stared at the two with wide eyes.

PEACH: It's true. That's why Mario rose to rescue me so quickly.
MARIO: And that's not all. This letter is from our eighteen-year old daughter, Amanda.
LUIGI: A daughter?! Why didn't I know?!
PEACH: We wanted to keep it a secret because you would've told everyone.
LUIGI: I can SO keep a secret. I have never told anyone about any secrets!

Mario and Peach looked at Luigi with a stern glare.

LUIGI: All right. ONCE, but I thought everyone wanted to know that Mario broke the record for eating the most pizza.
MARIO: And make me look like a glutton?

Peach showed Luigi the letter.

PEACH: Read the letter, Luigi.

Luigi took the letter and read it.

Dear Mom and Dad,
I'm having a great time here at high school. I have two great roommates. One's name is Katt Monroe. She is a cat-like creature and is in love with someone in the boys' class. I believe its Falco Lombardi. My other roommate's name is Melody. She says she had a slight adventure a while ago. Well, I've finally graduated! I'm coming home! I'll be there at about 3:00.
Bye!
Amanda

Luigi put the letter down.

MARIO: Convinced?
LUIGI: Yeah.

Little known to everyone, Kamek the Magikoopa, disguised as a Mushroom person, heard it all.

KAMEK: I've got to report this to Bowser!

Kamek sneaked out of the castle, took off his disguise, hopped on his broom and flew off to the castle of Bowser. When he reported this to Bowser, the king was not pleased.

BOWSER: A daughter of Mario?!
KAMEK: Yes, sir.
BOWSER: She could become more powerful than the Mario Bros.!
KAMEK: Why is that, sir?
BOWSER: My grandfather once told me that any daughter of a Mario would become even more powerful than her father, but had no idea just how powerful.
KAMEK: Have the Marios had any female ancestors?
BOWSER: Not any that were a Mario before she was married. Kamek, get the Koopa Bros.!

The Koopa Bros. are four turtle brothers that were beaten by Mario a while ago. Since then, they have been training for a rematch.

KAMEK: What for, sir?
BOWSER: I want them to do something they can accomplish.
KAMEK: What might that be, sir?
BOWSER: GET MARIO'S DAUGHTER AND BRING HER TO ME!!!

Kamek, freaked out from Bowser's yelling, ran out of the room to get the Koopa Bros., just as his sister, Kammy, entered.

KAMMY: Sir, the Koopa kids are doing fine in their training.
BOWSER: How's Iggy doing?
KAMMY: His hypnosis spells are almost perfected.
BOWSER: Lemmy?
KAMMY: He can now run up walls like you wanted him to.
BOWSER: Um, Ludwig?
KAMMY: His fire breathing is almost as good as yours is, sir.
BOWSER: Good. How about Larry?
KAMMY: Larry has gotten his plants to obey his every command.
BOWSER: And Wendy?
KAMMY: Her martial arts course is going fine.
BOWSER: What about Roy?
KAMMY: Sir, I think that long period of not doing anything rotten has softened your oldest son Roy. He isn't as strong as he used to be, and he doesn't really want to.
BOWSER: Hmm... He'll snap out of it soon. How's Morton coming along?
KAMMY: The idiot won't stop talking.
BOWSER: Good. That's his training. He can make the Marios fall asleep by talking so much.

Back at Peach's castle, Peach had asked Mallow to get the royal bus to pick up Amanda and bring her to the castle. Mallow did just that, as at 3:05, the royal bus returned, and Amanda got off it. Luigi and the others saw what she looked like for the first time. She was tall, had brown hair and blue eyes and wore a pink plumber suit with red overalls and an "A" on the hat. She had obviously wanted to be like her father.

Amanda embraced her mother and father, and when she was introduced to her "Uncle Luigi", she embraced him too.

AMANDA: It's so good to finally meet you, Uncle Luigi!

No sooner had she said those words than the Koopa Bros. and Kamek appeared in front of the large group that was at the party.

RED: Here come the Koopa Bros.!
BLACK We're the coolest of the cool!
YELLOW: We're on a mission!
GREEN: Mario, your daughter is coming with us, man!
KAMEK: Just shut up and get that girl!
KOOPA BROS.: Uh...YES SIR!
