No 8: Flown The KoopaSummary: Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool, Yoshi, and the Mushroom King are on their way to Dinosaur Island for the International Dino-Flying Derby on the S.S. Moreltania. The king is steering the ship on "Automatic Pilot" and Toad is taking cookies out of an oven. As he begins to serve, though, he falls down a flight of stairs and the cookies go everywhere, and Toad loses his memory. Luigi and Yoshi lap up all the cookies. The Princess takes Yoshi to the games and the others go and get their seats. The show is run-down and horrible and Yoshi doesn't even appear. The king and Toad venture back to the boat to let Toad rest while Mario and Luigi investigate. After searching around and using special powers, they find Peach and Yoshi-- and they have been turned into stone statues! The find that the cause seems to be coming from Magikoopa's castle, so they disguise themselves as Mega Moles and sneak in the castle through an underground passage. They eventually come upon Magikoopa, who shrinks Luigi and knocks out Mario. Using a remote control, Luigi is zapped into a television and Magikoopa follows him. Luigi wakes Mario up and Mario switches the channel to a bowling show. Magikoopa is hit by a giant bowling ball and he becomes defeated. Luigi grows to his normal size and all of the statues turn into humans, mushrooms and dinosaurs, or whatever had been switched, and the Princess congratulates them and everything's back to normal.

Rating: This book was okay, but in my opinion, it was unfortunately one of the worst. I was displeased with the arrangement of the plot, although it was still a good book in an original way. A 4.4 out of 10.
