Some Interesting Facts:

• Different airdates/times:

  • Family Channel, 1994-1996, Monday-Friday 3:30 P.M., Saturday 8:30 A.M. (EST)

  • USA Network, January-June 1997, Monday-Friday 7:00 A.M. (EST)

• Combination of SMBSS's SMB cartoons and the SMW cartoons in that order

• First collaboration show for the SMB cartoon

• Series went through all episodes of SMW and SMBSS (minus some, see below) in order then repeated again in different orders

• USA Network airings had some scenes cut out to make room for more commercials (this was also done when they aired SMB3)

• Show's intro is just a combination of the SMBSS and SMW intros (all animation old but two shots), using the music of the SMW intro without the Jamaican guy singing and cut a little.

• Only 40 of the 52 SMBSS's were used in MAS. The 12, or the full season's worth minus the pilot, not used are, in no particular order:

  • King Mario of Cramalot

  • Robo Koopa

  • Mario of the Deep

  • Karate Koopa

  • The Provolone Ranger

  • Mario of the Apes

  • Crocodile Mario

• The Super Mario World title screen parts of the SMW episode title and author displays were snipped off the episodes here.

• This was the only cable-specific-premiered Mario Bros. show.

• Rated TV-Y while on the USA Network.

• On the commercial breaks on the USA Network, the announcer referred to the show as Super Mario Bros. All Stars. FAM TV referred to it as Super Mario All Stars.
