Announcer: BOTVGH. New age fanfic comedy
entertainment, or a complete waste of time & effort?
This debate will probabaly never be solved.
I remember being the biggest thing this world

ever saw. Then, one day I woke up and I was in some
fancy-schmancy 16-bit game for SNES.

Announcer: This is Behind the Website: BOTVGH.

(Opening theme.)

Announcer: BOTVGH was the simple creation of Martin
Smith. It started out as a battle royal between Cranky
Kong, Mario, and later on, Luigi.

(Cut to clip.)

Let me join in!

NO!

I remember Martin said, "Hey, Mario, I've got
an idea. It's a fanfic starring all kind of VG
characters." Then, I cried.

Announcer: Many authors began making episodes. The
thing that set BOTVGH a part was, the characters
didn't like the authors.

That Sean Kelly! All he does is hits me with
that Blob character of his!

Announcer: One of the biggest controversies occured
one day when an author known as UDX brought forward a
running gag that could've, and should've, killed the
entire cast.

Dang those cows!!!

Announcer: Like a crazy lakitu, the Cow King was
throwing cows all over the archive.

I just thought that I'd have a little fun with an
Earthworm Jim gag. Then, the king had to get all drunk
with power.

Announcer: Drunk with power, indeed. The Cow King was
arrested in the preliminary episode for Season 6. He
is now being held in the ROTVGV Detention Center. He
made this comment at the BOTVGH awards.

I've gotten rid of all the cows. Next
season, you'll see a whole new Cow King. Are the
cameras off? Good! Fall my cows, fall! (Cows fall on
reporters.) What? They're still on. Oh no!

Announcer: The archive was getting attacked by cows,
but was still going strong. More on that when we come
back. When Behind the Website comes back...

Honestly, I never knew Candy was my cousin!
I'm telling the truth!

(Cut to commercial.)

Announcer: Next on VH1, we've got Before They Were VG
Characters.

Baby Ash: Mommy, me want be Pokemon Trainer. Buy me a
Burger King toy, and a Poke Bouncy Ball, and a...

Ash's Mom: Shut up, you brat!

Announcer: That's next.

(Cut to show.)

Announcer: Welcome back to BOTVGH Behind the Website.
BOTVGH was going in smooth sailing. It had many hits,
and was getting more than just VG characters.

Mega Man said he was in this fanfic and
wanted me to join, and now I'm here.

Announcer: But in Season 2, the archive would find
serious difficulties. One show that no one thought
could cause trouble did.

It's not so bad for the rest of 'em. I have to
be Michelle! And that other Michelle is always mean to
me. Why, if I had that Ian Pugh...

Announcer: In the episode "Season 2 Premire" author
Ian Pugh caused a sensation making all the characters
in that ep Full House cast members. It resulted into
many episodes having this gag.

What can I say about Ian? He's a good auth...
no, I'll be honest, that (bleep) ruined my life! Do
you know how many Full House Eps I had to read?!

Announcer: That was just the beginning. In that year's
Christmas Special some SEGA & Sony characters came to
crash the holiday spirit.

We just wanted to have a good time. That's all
we wanted! But they had to take that away from us!

I don't know what the big fuss is. It's Battle
of the Video Game Heroes! We're VG Heroes. We battled.

Announcer: And it was even worse behind the scenes.

Zelda wouldn't come around the set.

I was addicted to pasta!

I slept!

Announcer: With...

That's all! (Goes to sleep.) Zzzzzzz...

Announcer: Everyone wanted a piece of BOTVGH. The VG
characters had to constantly work on spin-off sites.
Here's a clip they couldn't use on BOTVGZ.

I've found a fountain of... Zzzzzzz...

I don't want any pasta, mama.

Announcer: Finally, after meeting the cast on an
awards show, The Rock helped them.

Those weird VG characters were fighting so I
knew there was only one thing to do. I wrote an unseen
episode where they all made up.

Announcer: Behind the Website has gotten hold of that
ep.

The Roks Episod
by
the ROck
(Thay oll mke ^.)

Announcer: It was a crude episode, but it worked. Now,
with a movie in the works, and a mysterious figure
known as Mr. Red Eye Guy, the archive looks like it's
got a sure future ahead of it. Next week, on Behind
the Website, ROTVGV...

I'm not really a koopa. It's just hours and
hours of make-up.

Announcer: That's next time on Behind the Website
