Who Messed With His Voice Box?
Or "Why Does Luigi Sound So Different?"
by N64 Chick
Hi, my name's 'N64' and I felt like ranting about something so here I am. This rant is about Luigi and his ever-changing voice. Am I the only one that noticed that his voice changes all the time? I'll show you what I mean...
Mario Kart 64: Luigi sounds pretty mature (and goofy too)
Mario Party: Luigi sounds really high-pitched. What the heck?!?! HUGE difference from the Mario Kart 64 voice. What happened? Did he suck the helium out of the party balloons or something? This is also the game that made me like Luigi. Don't know why...
Super Smash Bros.: Luigi sounds like some kind of little kid! Again, what the heck? I have a theory about this one. Luigi uses a cute voice to trick his foe into thinking he's sweet and innocent when he could do a fire uppercut at any time. Yow!
Mario Golf: Luigi sounds grumpy. I got a theory about this one too. In this game...LUIGI SUCKS! I wouldn't be to happy if I sucked like that and I bet that's how he feels.
Mario Party 2: (see Mario Party)
Mario Tennis: Luigi sounds like he did in Mario Golf, but a little happier. And why not? Luigi rules in this game! With Waluigi there, does he want to sound like a little kid or a... er... dude that sucked helium?
So there you have it. I even mail Nintendo about this and did I get a half way decent response? Heck no! They claim they don't know either. I think they're being lazy... Ah well That's my rant about my favorite goof ball. Thanks for reading! This is N64 Chick now signing off...click...
