New information had surfaced from GoNintendo and NMag GamePro magazine of some new features that would be hitting Mario Kart Wii once its released. The information being snaking will be available, all drivers have the same vehicle, controls are those of Excite Truck, Baby Peach and Boo will make a debut as drviers for the first time, and there are 32 courses (16 new, 16 old).
Did you get all excited for a second? Sorry to break it to you but a Nintendo spokesperson commented on the new information and called it a rumor. "Nintendo has not announced any further information on Mario Kart. We've spoken to the magazine and it's just pure rumor and speculation on their part."
In any case Be on the lookout for this title in June or April.

We've been telling you the title would be available / released in April yet the computer system for Hollywood Videos has a release dated slated for June 17, 2008.

GameStop has begun taking pre-orders for Mario Kart Wii and have stated it will be released on April 2, 2008. People are skeptical as the release date is "soon" and less details have been given out about the upcoming title. Don't be surprised if we report on some sort of correction in the future!

Have spare change laying around and don't feel like keeping tack? Now store your coins in these pretty awesome Mushroom Banks. Two versions are available: 1Up Mushroom and Super Mushroom, each retailing at $14.99. Unfortunately, of course, they're both available in Japan but you can import them if you want them bad enough. I unfortunately don't have a link for you, ahem, but if you do an eBay search you'll probably come up with something?
