Square-Enix launched the official Japanese website for Itadaki DS. This game is to feature characters from the Super Mario and Dragon Quest series (you probably knew that). Once you go to the website there will be the theme for Super Mario Bros. playing, look at the bottom right hand corner and you'll notice a music bar with 3 themes available to play. The third (3) features a theme from Super Mario RPG. The second, I presume, is from Dragon Quest.

A new item for Super Smash Bros. Brawl has been revealed on the official website. Accordingly, Final Smash but you need to first obtain the Smash Ball. Check out Mario using Final Smash in the 29 May update of the website. Note: Scroll down when you get to the page...

News has been spreading around today, from several sources talking about another new Mario title (new or not?). Anyway, it is rumored that Kremlings from the Donkey Kong Country series would be featured in a Mario title slated for a 2007 release. No, not Strikers Charged

Some, key word "some", GameStop and EB Games stores had began to put Mario Party 8 on store shelves and you could purchase it. However, they decided to pull them until the actual release date arrives which happens to be Tuesday, May 29th.

According to this image, yes. Paper Mario, which was released in 2001 for the Nintendo 64, will be released onto the Virtual Console at some point. Not sure when but the topic is surely flowing through the minds of the staff at Nintendo. Right now we're only going by this image and will bring the latest once it becomes available so hang tight!

17th May 2007 – As the football season reaches its climax, Nintendo UK are celebrating today with the announcement they have made the signings of the season with Ian Wright and Shaun Wright-Phillips lined up to promote the hugely anticipated Wii football title ‘Mario Strikers Charged Football.’

Ian and Shaun line up against Mario and Co. as the stars of the Mario Strikers Charged Football campaign which goes live across terrestrial TV from 19th May featuring in major sports events such as the upcoming Champions League and FA Cup finals and more family oriented programs such as Coronation Street, Grease Is the Word and Big Brother.

The TV ad sees Ian and Shaun at home battling another team of opponents online using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, a feature that allows Wii owners to take on anyone across Europe.

To celebrate the launch, Ian Wright will also be appearing at GAME, Oxford Street from 9am on launch day (25th May) playing against challengers in store and signing Wii hardware and software for fans.

Nintendo of Europe has launched a whole slew of websites in France, Spanish, Italian, English, Dutch, and language for the Netherlands. I presume you guys probably want the English site but for readers globally you can check out this page and choose what language you prefer.

Note: We in the U.S. know this game as Mario Strikers Charged but as we reported in March there was a name change for Europe. -- That explains the addition of Football in the title.

Workers at GameSpot and EB Games said that reservations for Mario Strikers Charged would begin today. However, no "BIG" announcement has been made known to the mass majority of the public (I wouldn't know if I would not have checked out GoNintendo.com).

So once more details pop up this evening I'll be posting them. So, keep it-ah tuned here!
