Remember the news post about Circuit City offering a $20 gift card if they did not have Super Paper Mario in stock at 2:00PM? Nothing more than a trick. Here is what a victim had to say to Kotaku... "I get to Circuit City and stand in the customer service line. I see they’d erected a little sign reading Super Paper Mario sold out. I’m bummed that they don’t have it but I think at least I can get a $20 giftcard so I can get the game later at a discounted price…. I ask him about the offer in the weekly ad. He says I don’t get a giftcard because they did have the game in stock-earlier… He said I would have only gotten the giftcard if their supply never came. SHADY!!" Stores... they always stick it to ya' somehow. - Report By Gage at 5:05 PM Winifred Philips, a composer for the music studio, Generations Productions LLC, has recorded a tribute for the Super Mario Brothers in commemoration with the company's fourth anniversary. Most notably, Philips has recorded a "Go Mario!" track to celebrate the over 20 years of entertainment with Super Mario Brothers, originally released in 1985. Accompanying Winifred in his works for the album, "The Best of the Best: A Tribute to Game Music", is producer Winnie Waldron. Their accomplished tracks will be available on May 1, 2007 at Game Music Central. If you would like to hear a 30 second clip please click here. Thanks to David Tractenberg for this news! - Report By Gage at 9:32 AM
A new rumor has surfaced thanks to this picture and the text of "Awaiting data upgrade...". Nothing's official but some people are thinking this may lead to connectivity of the Wii and DS for this game. We'll keep you posted. - Report By Gage at 8:44 AM Tuesday, April 10, 2007

Wanted to share with you the PAL European box art for Mario Strikers Charged Football. Also in some other and perhaps belated news, 1Up's game page for Super Smash Bros. What a huge surprise that the whole Luigi Mario game was none other than an April Fool's joke. Hopefully next year I will have a better one. You might as well just count on Sean and other's jokes for this year, great job! - Report By Gage at 5:18 PM
We all know Luigi as being the second player in most games from SMB-SMB3 and so-on but he did in fact go solo in the 2001 Game Cube title “Luigi's Mansion”. However, today marks the announcement of Luigi Mario which is met to be another RPG series but wait, where's our favorite main character? No he is not locked up and “missing” anywhere he is just taking some vacation time at home.- Report By Gage at 11:21 AM |
