You can now pre-order copies of Super Mario Galaxy from Gamestop. They will be shipping the game on November 1, 2007 for $49.99. Nintendo and SEGA announced today (Tokyo) that both Mario and Sonic would be making a debut in the Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games which is based on the Beijing Olympic Games coming up in 2008. Other characters making a debut are Luigi, Yoshi, Knuckles, and Tails besides Mario and Sonic. There are others but the full list was not mentioned in the press room. I originally said that The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 - The Complete Series would be released on June 26. In truth the set will be available on June 5. The NES classic Mario & Yoshi, has been confirmed for a release on Aussie VCs. No point value or firm date has been announced although there was a mention of "in the near future".  It was first known yesterday of Banpresto's new Super Mario Brothers plush toys however, they are only available in Japan at this point in time. The line apparently features Mario, Toad, Luigi, Boo, and the Power-Up Mushroom.On a positive side this does not mean U.S. fans cannot make a purchase online.  We know have a release date for the first volume (I'm presuming) of the Super Mario Bros. 3 DVD set- June 26, 2007. This set will retail at $29.98. As we reported on March seventh about the possibility of the 'Mushroom Kingdom Hearts' game in 2008, new news comes about. This was, accordingly, just a April Fools joke and a rumor. Kotaku mentions that the game WOULD have featured 41 Nintendo characters which results to 4/1 aka April 1st.  King of Games announced that their new 'Mario Kart Grand Champion' shirt will be going on sale at the Nintendo Museum in Osaka beginning on March 28th. This time from Super Mario Galaxy which was only touched upon in Miyamoto's keynote address in which he only confirmed this game to be released by the end of 2007. Square Enix is the publisher and that is all that we know about the game other than we'll see characters from the original Kingdom Hearts titles and Mario should be playing a major role... Does Nintendo have anything planned? We thought we'd like to share with you news of a cell phone game has been established and has surfaced entitled "Marbario". None-the-less the game follows the storyline of Super Mario Brothers but with different characters. Let's lay that out:  The overall objective of the game is to save you're girlfriend from Pavo, aka Bowser. Here's a description: Mobario is a classical jump 'n' run game. The story is quite simple:Mobaria, the girlfriend of Mobario was kidnapped by the evil Pavo. You have to rescue Mobaria from Pavo's Castle, but you have to get there which is not easy. The land, the sky, the caves and even under the water are nasty enemies waiting for you. In Pavo's Castle, fireballs make your journey more difficult. And at the end you have to fight Pavo, who is really strong, you have to beat him 10 times, but take care with jumping on him.
