We just received this e-mail from Brian Ward of Shout Factory:

Thought you'd be interested in knowing that I'm currently working on the box
set for "The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3: The Complete Series" for a
release date in late Spring/early Summer.

So far, it's all 13 episodes packed onto 2 discs with a third bonus disc.

There you have it.
