Mario Marionette -
Another real oddity of Mario products is this little thing. I don't have much info. on it except what I can guess from the picture. First, it's either an official nintendo product or a very good imitation because everything is standard from the face, to the colors, to the yellow buttons (Some cheap products are real messed up). Secondly, it's probably a Japanese product or picture, judging from the little stairway he's walking on (has an Asian feel) and the general weirdness of the item. Most likely it's a Japan only product. I've never seen it over here, and can't imagine it doing well in the states. Third, it looks kinda flimsy. The head is just a flat sheet, and the arms seem made of streamers. No explanation I can think of except that the producer of it was cheap. It seems like a good collectors item, as this is the first I've ever seen. Don't ask me where to start looking for one, though.
