FOR THE DATE OF

Today's guest responder is GameGuru from SSS.

That story is before my time.
Yeah, this story is getting kind of outdated at this point. Unofrtunately, I have neither the time nor the inclination to continue it. Maybe we'll solicit submissions for an updated story section soon.
Hahaha. "meen to be mean." That question made me el-oh-el.-jay
Since this question doesn't pertain to me, I just
want to take this opportunity to tell the other
responders to follow Jay's and my leads and just give
nonsensical answers. It's so much more enjoyable to
read later.

This is a very, very large site. It competes with the game pages and everything else for updates. However, if you think you can update it yourself, check out the "help wanted" section--remembering we have no interest in speculative fan theories; the section should only be based on the video game canon.
If you're going to complain about updates you could at least use punctuation in your message.
I don't think whoever's responsible has had time to update it. If it
were my job... well, I've been too distracted by the glories of Tetris
DS and Mario 64 DS to do anything important. Mmmm, DS goodness...
Well, if we added the newer Mario games, it wouldn't be a seven-part story anymore, now would it?
When will The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 be released on DVD?
amy dittman
We just so happened to have recieved an e-mail last week from Brian Ward of Shout Factory, stating that the SMB3 DVD set will be coming out late spring to early summer. We will provide more details as they become available.
No firm date from what I've heard. I don't even know who owns the rights, to tell the truth. Considering that the SMB Super Show is doing decently on DVD, I don't think it's out of the question. When is anyone's guess.
They'll probably only make it if sales of the SMB Super Show on DVD are good. So really, it is up to YOU and YOU alone to go out and buy EVERY single SMB Super Show DVD that you can find. QUICK! HURRY! Mario is counting on you!!!-jay

Whenever Bowser stops hoarding the master copies of
the disc. I'm surprised Mario hasn't rescued them yet.
Maybe Mario WANTS the SMB3 cartoon to never see the
light of day...
Beats me. They seem to release these things at random, perhaps when whoever drew them is hard up for money.
I haven't heard anything about this series coming to DVD, as nice as that would be.
I hope it's soon. I've already bought all of the Super Show, I need
more Mario goodies to add to my collection.
We don't know... If I had to guess, it'd be some time after the release of Captain N and the version of Sonic the Hedgehog from Saturday Morning. Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 WILL be released as Super Mario Bros. Super Show is Shout Factory's top seller, I just don't know when.
this website rules, but there are rarely ever any updates. I realize that you've got better things to do than sit at your computer all day and update the site, but it's just that there's never much new.
Christopher Vouis
Yeah, I don have better things to do that sit at the computer all day: sleep! :P
Guilty as charged.
Haha. Sorry. For some reason I just thought it was funny that people have been complaining about the lack of updates on SMBHQ for, like, 3 years now, and here we still are.
Seriously, though, what more do you people want from us? Can't we live??? Why won't you let us LIVE?!?!? PLEASE! FOR THE LOVE OF WALUIGI, LET US LIVE!!!!!-jay

Whenever Bowser stops hoarding the Kyle Orland (or
in this case Joystiq). I'm surprised Mario hasn't
rescued him yet. Maybe Mario WANTS Kyle Orland to
never see the light of day...
That's Sean's field. My section was religiously updated, and continues to be where it was moved... but of course I have nothing better to do than sit on the computer all day long. Jay... eh. He's busy with College. So is Sean. We need some bored High Schoolers to update SMBHQ.
I'm glad you choose to write this pointless email instead of sending us something to update.
Hey, some of us have new Nintendo DSs that beg for our attention and
prevent us from updating. I mean, someone's gotta help Princess Peach
save Mario, right? And who better than me, Peachfan? ^_^
What is Super Smash Stadium?! Part of TMK?! SSS updates once a month, unless life gets in the way of one of our... uhh, six? writers.
Do you have an idea as to when "Super Mario Galaxy" comes out for the Wii? Thanks.
Caleb
Dear smbhq 1 year ago I sent fan art to this sight. One was one where Mario was looking at his 1980 self (blocky version.) and another one where Mario Luigi were flying across the mushroom kingdom. One was called 20 years apart and the other Super Mario Bros. I would like to know what happened. Please reply
Mr Nintendo
I don't know. PenguinMan just told me he is stepping down as editor, so we are going to start to look for a more capable guy soon (no offence PM).
My best guess is that we didn't post it.
It sounds like we need to fire Penguin Man. PM! How could you do this??? I trusted you! Mr. Nintendo trusted you!!! You have lied to us all of these years! *sobs uncontrollably*-jay

Whenever Bowser stops hoarding the master copies of
the drawings. I'm surprised Mario hasn't rescued them
yet. Maybe Mario WANTS the drawings to never see the
light of day...
Stuff gets... lost. I wouldn't be surprised if it somehow was sent to the wrong address. Make sure to send it again to be sure... though the person responsible for that section might have an answer.
You caught us. Instead of posting the image we decided to print black market Mario posters from it.
I'm not the fanart person, I just answer the mail and think about
updating Comics and Books. I really should do that sometime soon...
You know if Mega Man, Simon Belmont, and Sonic were in Brawl, that'd be awesome. Uhh, what?

I have lymphoma and it has been suggested that I visualize something going through my system devouring the cancer cells. Many folks have used Pac Man, but I thought the little plumbers could go through my lymph system and rheam out the nasty goombas. Since I came up with this thought, I had been encouraging Mario and Luigi and my son made me a poster for Mario being dispatched from Rome (possibly with the Pope's blessing) since they are Italian after all.
What I really need is both of them going through some kind of pipes , chasing the cancerous cells with some plumbing tools - maybe draino??. don't know where to start to create this kind of graphic. Can you help? Do you know someonw who would want to help a cancer patient with this project?
thanks,
cathi
I just wanted to know what shy guys look like under their masks? I would
really like to know.

Hi,
Do you happen to know where I can find the
soundtrack to Wario World? Unfortunately, as you
know, it was never made into an official release, and
I was wondering if you knew whether somebody out there
has ripped it or not. Please let me know about this
at your earliest convenience. Thanks.
-Mike
In the past, Nintendo released game soundtracks for the Nintendo Power catalogue. If it never turned out there, you probably would have to resort to...GULP...file sharing networks!
The internet is a wide and vast place. That said, I don't think anyone out on the internet has bothered to rip a soundtrack for Wario World. Why not buy some equipment and do it yourself? Be a trailblazer!
I think you're out of luck, chief.-jay

Maybe Wario WANTS the disc to never see the light of

There are a number of sources I know of, but they aren't specifically something I could link here. Well. That's up to Sean. There is recorded audio of it on the web, though.
I did a quick search but didn't come up with anything.
I honestly don't know if anyone's ripped it... but if anyone knows if
Tetris DS's soundtrack was ripped or exists somehow, let me know.
I can't help you even if I wanted to!
hi there i wondered if you can help we have a snes and wanting yoshis island i was wondering if you know where i could get this game or if you have the game if so can i pay by postal order for it. and also can you also tell me where the warps are on the lost levels on the all stars game thanks very much.

Is your shift key broken? How about the caps lock? I see a period at the end there, so I know that key is working. USE IT!
Anyhoo, blah blah eBay blah blah Guides section.

I'd say the e-word, but someone else will. So there's no point.-jay

Whenever Bowser stops hoarding the remaining copies
of the game. I'm surprised Yoshi hasn't rescued them
yet. Maybe Yoshi WANTS the games to never see the
light of day...
dunno where the warps are, but something tells me you should look on for that game.
In level 3-1 jump over the flag pole to reach a warp pipe. You may be surprised where it takes you.
Well, it might be easier to get a GBA and get Yoshi's Island for that.
It's gone on sale since Yoshi's Island DS has been released (that's
how I got my GBA version- yay sales!), so you might want to try that.
And hahahahah, Lost Levels. I'm afraid of that game. Give me Super
Mario 2 USA any day. I could help with warp zones for that, if you
gave me enough time to remember where the warp vases are.
I think we got some copies of that in our store! Also, Warp Zones are in Levels 1-2, 3-1, 5-1, 5-2, 8-1, A-2, A-3, and B-4. Two of them are TRAPS, and I'll let you find out which ones! Also, you will never be able to reach World 9 if you use a Warp Zone, even if it's a trap!
I've always wanted a Mario timeline. I could never find one. So I made one.
It's got a lot of Mario Games, but I know I'm missing a few, it also has some knock offs at the end. I thought since ya'll are Mario, that ya'll could add the rest and post it on your website.
Kolten Burkes
It's.....alright. I personally happy with the, more complete, timelines I put together for the era pages.
Very nicely done. You seem to have left off Mario Sunshine and the recently released Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2, March of the Minis. From earlier games, there are cameos like NES Open golf and Mario is Missing, but I think you've hit all the major points. Good job.
Yeah, that looks cool. We should totally steal that and put it on the site. Sean, make it so.-jay
I honestly don't know what to say. People may
think that I've been a little lazy this mailbag, but
hey, that's Senioritis for you. Now if you'll excuse
me I have some Prinnies that need throwing.
Sean! Make that too! And some coffee! All these questions make me thirsty!
Officer: SM64 Mario, what part of turning don't you understand?
Goomba: Hmm... They all look like the man who killed my father...
I think that's rather nifty!
Maybe I should do something like that for Peach... hmm.... ^_^
Those aren't knock-offs at the end. Those were game made with Nintendo's permission, as was Hotel Mario and the edutainment Mario games, though Nintendo games NOT exclusive to Nintendo platforms always suck. I'm looking at you, Mario is Missing!
