Mario Lego "Game World" - Man, what I wouldn't give to have a set of these as a kid. I had to settle for making little platforms out of Tinker Toys. I'm pretty sure these weren't made in America; I've never heard of Byggis. Anyway, this set comes with a lot of brightly colored, lego-style blocks and instructions for putting them together into things like castles, staircases, mysterious floating ?-blocks, etc. (just kidding about the last one). Best of all, it comes with little cardboard cutouts of everybody's favorite plumber along with his best friends and enemies. So you can stage your own little dramatic battles and stories. You don't even need the blocks, you can make your own little Mario soap opera with these little cut-outs! What fun. Collectibility wise, these seem like a pretty good momento of the SMB-era. They may be worth a small sum, especially in the states where they're hard to find. Just don't lose those little pieces under the sofa.
