Mario Cookie Jars- Not pictured: Toad cookie jar. Have Mario & Co. keep your cookies safe. These jars, from the "Super Mario World" era, are made of finely crafted painted porcelain. The characters are pretty well in proportion except for the facial expressions (which are hard to get right), an the fact that Toad's 'shroom is a little small (making it biggerm ay have thrown off the balance =). Open them up, and they play music, though I'm not sure what song. If you want one of your own, check a cooking supply store or a home furnishings store to see if they have any (I foudn them on Ebay, however). Collector wse, I can see this near the front of a Mario collection, since they are so well made, and cookie jar collectors would want it too (I guess). Does anyone out there know if there are Mario and Luigi verisons of these jars?
