Donkey Kong '94
System(s): (Super) Game Boy
U.S. Release Date: 1993
Current street price: $15.00 or less
Save: Battery Back-up
Size: Over 100 levels
The story starts off as Donkey Kong's did, with the construction site, and Pauline being taken by the big ape. After you beat him this time, though, he runs off with Pauline. He runs through lots of different locales with Mario in hot pursuit trying to rescue his girlfriend.
- These items are truly unique. When you touch one of these things, a little icon comes up asking you where you want the ladder/floor. You then select it, and then it stretches across or up until it hits something on either side. It'll stay for a few seconds with some nice music in the background. These items and their timing/placement are crucial to many levels in the game.
Expect new enemies when I find their names (next week hopefully)
Notes of interest
First appearance of DK since DK Jr.

Lots of new animation for DK

"HELP!!! Help!! help!"
After the first four levels, you and Pauline get together a la DK, but this time, DK gets up and knocks down the construction site and all hope of the pair's love. When you FINALLY beat the game, the reunion happens again, this time with DK being flung off a tower so he can't come back. DK JR. follows him off, but I hope he's OK (He's so cute!)
