Rules for chat events

General rules

Listen to the head of the chat (usually named SMBHQMaster) at all times. What he says goes.
No profanity please. Keep it to a PG level
Don't bad mouth other members of the chat. Keep it professional please.
Please arrive promptly if you want to participate

RPC rules

All members of the chat who want to participate choose a Mario character who isn't already taken. They then act out this characters part in an ongoing story.
Log off and chane your name to the appropriate character name, then log on again before the RPC starts
Please keep up with the story so far and take it into account when doing your part. Try to advance the story, not hidner it
Please stay in character. Don't revert to being yourself until afterward
Listen to SMBHQMaster (usually Mario in the RPC). He may call pauses (i.e. when someone new enters) so pay attention. Please private message SMBHQMaster with questions and such
Keep up with what's happening while you type. Make sure you don't type somethnig that contradicts with another statement. Advance the story!
If you aren't participating, keep silent
When SMBHQMaster say the RPC is over for the day. It's over! Ther e will be a recap after everyone. Don't interrupt whoever is doing the recap until he's done!!!!

Trivia Rules

STOP TALKING IN BETWEEN QUESTIONS. When SMBHQMaster says "next question coming up" stop inane chatter
Only SMBHQMaster asks questions and awards points unless he assigns someone else to do it

If you disagree with an answer or point assignment, argue promptly. Don't wait until the next question has started
