So who is this Mario, anyway?

Mario, along with his brother Luigi, is one of the Mario Brothers, Nintendo's trademark itallian plumbers. Mario first appeared in the arcade game Donkey Kong, where he tried to get past an ape who was throwing barrels at him. He next appeared in Mario Brothers along with Luigi. The first well known of his games was released a few months later for the Nintendo Entertainment System, and was titled Super Mario Brothers. Then came Super Mario Brothers 2, and Super Mario Brothers 3, the best selling video game of all time. With the introduction of Game Boy, Nintendo's portable video game player, Mario appeared in Super Mario Land. Next came Super Mario Land 2. With the release of the Super Nintendo, Mario had his newest game, Super Mario World. This was Mario's biggest adventure yet. It included his newest friend, Yoshi, the green dinosaur. Sure enough, Super Mario World 2: Yoshis Island came out. This wasn't as big as the rest of the Mario series. It involved playing as Yoshi, trying to save baby Mario. Mario also appeared in other games, such as Mario Paint and Mario's Tennis. Now, with the release of Nintendo 64, Mario is in the greatest videogame of all time, Mario 64.

What's so great about Mario 64?

Mario 64 is the first toatally 3-D game ever made. You control Mario with an analog joystick. This means that he can move in any direction, at any speed. It's just too cool to explain. If you really want to know, stop by at your local Toys R Us, or another toy store to play it. And when you buy it, use this to beat it.
